Hotel Cenacolo was an ideal Base for exploring Assisi and surrounding areas (we went to lovely Spello on a daytrip by train, only 10 mins away). The food for breakfast and dinner was really good (plenty variety at breakfast), staff were very helpful at every turn. The location suited us as it is 10 mins walk to the train station and also the Porziuncula church (an important St Francis site) is nearby. There's a regular local shuttle bus outside the hotel (Linea C) dropping off at the main Basilica San Francesco. Make sure to spend plenty time exploring the "lower" church - amazing frescoes. The Upper church is also good, but takes less time. If visiting Spello, definitely see the Pinturicchio frescoes in the main church - really beautiful.

What an amazing hotel! The building is a renovated old monastery. The location was perfect, as the hotel was close to the main train station. A bus station is basically in front of the hotel and a shop where you can buy the transport tickets is very close, too. The breakfast buffet was tasty, good coffee and service. The hotel has a green area inside where you can chill and walk around. All the staff we met (reception and restaurant) were happy, smiling, helpful and respectful.

The hotel is a old Franciscan Monastery which was transformed into a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good and it has options for people with allergic constraints,

The room was lovely - well appointed, nice bathroom, quiet and breakfast was excellent. It was well located close to the railway station and on the bus connection to the old town of Assisi itself.

The property is right next to the bus stop that takes you into Assisi. It was super easy for us to visit and come back when we wanted. It is also within walking distance of a few restaurants if you decide not to do the half board. It was perfect for a one night stay as we were just passing through.

two things that really stood out was the food, dinner and breakfast with very fresh and tasty food. Plenty of different foods to choose from. Also the room and hotel itself were very clean ! compliments to the cleaning staff. the room was also spacious.

Great room - junior suite - and staff. We had a lovely view of Assisi from our window. Restaurant and wine list excellent. Location is great - free parking and short bus ride to Assisi(€1.30 single, available at Tabacchi next door). No permanent bar, but drinks/cocktails are available from 1800, with snacks. Santa Maria degli Angeli is a short walk away with some really good restaurants too.

It was neat and clean. Walking distance to the train station and McDonald. The staff were helpful and friendly except for one male staff at the check-in counter.

Relaxed atmosphere, good facilities. Very close to Assisi with bus stop practically at the front door. Bus up to the top of Assisi and a very good, easy walk down to the Basilica, with lots to see on the way. Then bus back from there. Gaia was very friendly and helpful at both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely choose this Hotel again.

Very clean and comfortable room with good air conditioning, straightforward parking, and it was an easy 10 minute journey to central Assisi by bus (just check the timetable which is on the bus stop outside.) Our room had a lovely view of Assisi. Breakfast was decent with some interesting pastries and breads. A great option if visiting by car.
